Work planned in your area
We undertake essential maintenance and upgrade work to continue to supply safe and reliable water. To make sure the work gets done safely, we sometimes need to turn your water off. We understand this is an inconvenience, and we want to minimise the impact on you as much as we can.
For planned work, we’ll notify you in advance, giving you time to prepare. We will also send you updates when we begin the work and your water is back on—helping you avoid any surprises.
Occasionally, works may be cancelled when safety, weather events, total fire bans and faults can present a risk. We’ll notify you if work is cancelled or rescheduled, so you can resume your day without any interruptions.
Unplanned outages
Sometimes the unexpected happens, like a sudden burst pipe, fault, or accident, and we can’t give our customers advance notice about an outage. When your water is affected, we will do our best to notify you as soon as we can—providing you with estimated outage times, so you can make arrangements and stay informed while we fix the problem.
When things don’t go as planned
On some occasions, we may need to cancel planned maintenance work. We’ll let you know if this happens and notify you if the work is rescheduled.
When things don’t go as we planned or something is out of our control, we may be unable to keep you as informed as we’d like. If this is the case, we advise you to check the outage map, which may have information about an outage close to your area that could be impacting your supply. You can also report a fault online anytime.
In an emergency, please get in touch and talk to us on 13 13 75.
