Do you run a business or are you a property manager needing an easier way to keep track of your bills, payments and water use? Instead of remembering all the different billing periods, payment schedules and more, you can group your properties to help you keep track.

Property groups

You can automatically group your properties based on the suburb, postcode, or owner name or manually group them to meet your administrative needs.

Your property groups are only available to you and won’t show for other users. Each user can create their own groups.

How to group your properties

Please log in to your online account, and go to the ‘Manage’ tab. From there, select ‘Manage groups’. This is where you can group your properties and edit and delete groups.

Choose from automatic or customer groups

Automatic groups

When you choose this option, your properties can be grouped into one of the following:

  • Suburb
  • Postcode
  • Owner name

Custom groups

When choosing custom groups, you can group properties any way you want based on your account needs. You can also add individual properties to your groups.

For these groups, you’ll also have the option to add a name and description to help you identify your groups.

Please note: You can’t have both automatic and custom groups and a property can only belong to 1 group.

Edit a group

Please log in to your online account to edit your groups in 'Manage groups'. Then, select 'Edit/delete group' to edit your groups. Once you’re in the 'Edit group' form, you can make your changes.

If you need to change from automatic groups to custom groups or vice versa, select the group you want to switch to. Please note that all the current groupings will be deleted when you change.

If you’re looking to move a property into a different group, you can only do this for custom groups. Your automatic groups are based on postcode, suburb, or owner name, so you won’t be able to shift properties.

Please note: A property can only belong to 1 group.

Delete groups

Please log in to your online account, go to the 'Manage' tab and select 'Manage groups'. In manage groups, select 'Edit/delete group'. This will take you through to the 'Edit group' form, where you can select 'Delete groupings'.

If you need to delete a custom group, please select the group from the drop-down and click 'Next'. You can then delete the group.

What happens to the properties in the deleted groups?

Your properties will remain in your online account but will be ungrouped. If you have custom groups, you can always add the ungrouped properties to an existing group or create a new group.
