A selected cultivar with purple-burgundy coloured foliage, even darker in winter, and white flowers in late spring. Upright to about 6 metres with pendulous foliage. Often tends to only have a few branches and sparse foliage so it is best regularly pruned and planted in groups or among other plants for foliage contrast. Attracts birds, insects and possums.
