Special developer infrastructure contribution areas
Find out about our special developer infrastructure contribution areas and what contributions may apply to your development.
If your development is located within the areas of Australind, Denham, Kenwick, Maddington or METRONET precincts, special developer infrastructure contributions may apply in addition to standard infrastructure contributions.
Developers of land within the buffer zone of the Australind treatment plant, where a wastewater service is available, are required to pay a special developer infrastructure contribution in addition to standard infrastructure contributions. This is to offset the cost of relocating the wastewater treatment plant.
The contribution is payable on all new lots with sewerage available and is applicable at subdivision stage only.
Infrastructure contributions are not subject to GST.

Developers of land in Denham are required to pay a special developer infrastructure contribution as well as the standard infrastructure contribution. This contribution is to offset the costs we incur by installing the infrastructure required to provide these water services.
The contribution is payable on all lots with water available and applies at both subdivision and building stage.
Infrastructure contributions are not subject to GST.

A special developer contribution scheme is now in place for 5 METRONET development precincts - Kelmscott, Meltham, Bennett Springs, Redcliffe and Morley.
Developers of residential and commercial properties in these METRONET development precinct areas are required to pay a special developer infrastructure contribution in addition to the standard infrastructure contribution. The contribution is to offset the cost of us upgrading and existing reticulation networks (water and sewer) to accommodate redevelopment in the precinct.
The contribution is payable on all developments and is applicable at subdivision and building stage. It is not subject to the GST.
