We are committed to managing our supplier and contractor relationships, to ensure we work together safely while providing value to customers and stakeholders.

As a supplier and/or contractor, you may be required to provide us with information, read documents and take online courses on a regular or annual basis. This information is important, and is collated with information we have on file, to form an initial score card of your performance.

This is dependent on the type of goods or services you provide. Possible required information could include:

  • Monthly entering of WHS Statistics
  • Provision of valid insurance certificates
  • Provision of security documents for major works contracts

Failure to provide requested information could adversely affect your scoring.

Depending on what you intend to provide for us, you may need to read and/or participate in the following:

  • Health Safety and the Environment for contractors
  • Terms & conditions of purchase
  • Design standards

In addition to your provided information, internal assessments are carried out on existing contracts and purchase orders. We assess the following categories (where possible):

  • Time
  • Quality
  • Relationships
  • Site & administration
  • HSE
  • Public relations
  • Environment

Learn more about how we evaluate internal assessments in our vendor evaluation guidelines for contractors.

Assessments are used in a number of areas. They can impact your status with panel arrangements, awarding of future contracts and/or issuing of purchase orders.

We will work with you to improve your performance and (where necessary) will arrange meetings and/or interviews to guide you.
