Find out how infrastructure contributions are calculated for strata subdivisions.

The way in which the water service connections are applied will impact the level of water and wastewater contributions required.

Applicants can choose to service their development by installing either:

  • individual meters at an agreed road frontage for strata lots adjacent to a Water Corporation water main
  • acceptable sub-meters for each strata lot adjacent to a Water Corporation main
  • a combination of these.

The way in which the water service connections are applied will impact the level of water and wastewater contributions required.

Lots served individually will normally pay more water and wastewater contributions than those lots served by common services.

The number of connections to sewer does not impact the wastewater infrastructure contribution requirements.

The allowable number of connections to a sewer junction for a strata development can be confirmed by calling us on 13 13 95.

Water supply and wastewater contributions

Infrastructure contributions required for water supply and wastewater for subdivisions creating strata lots will be based on the meter based contribution table.

Note: Infrastructure contributions for drainage no longer apply to strata subdivisions.
