Flow rate

The minimum flow rate for a standard level of service in Perth Metropolitan or Country Urban Areas is 20 litres per minute. The flow rate for your property may be less than this because it is not in an urban area or your land is used for a prescribe use, such as farming. 

A flow rate of less than 20 litres per minute has been designed to ensure all properties on the scheme can access water. We may physically restrict the flow rates at your service to only as much as your service is designed for. This is to prevent some customers from taking large quantities of water leaving other customers with little or none.
