Hear from previous trainees
“During my time as a trainee, I was based primarily out of the Canning Vale Depot working in the project management space. I also had a 6 month opportunity to work in the South West region in a more engineering focussed space. Everyone at Water Corporation was very welcoming and willing to spend time teaching me the skills I required to be an active member of the team I was in. If you’re a keen learner and have a passion for engineering, I highly recommend this traineeship.” – Tom Singline, Advisor – Civil.
"I enjoyed being able to gain experience from a workplace whilst learning at the same time. There are always moments where you’ll learn a topic from your studies that you can demonstrate in your job, or vice versa. I was surprised by the flexibility offered between study and work and being able to create my own balance between the two. The best advice I can give is to not be shy and get to know the other EATS early on, I can guarantee you’ll make some great friends." - William Tompkin, Project Engineer – Contract Administration.
