Your water supply may be interrupted without notice. Supply interruptions can happen when there is scheduled maintenance work, pipe bursts or other faults within the water network.

As we cannot guarantee a continuous supply, you should be prepared to cater for a potential supply interruption of up to two days.

How do I cater for a potential supply interruption?

Installing a water tank to store water is a suitable way to have a reserve ready for use in the case of a supply interruption.

Dams and troughs may also be suitable water storage options for livestock use only. All tanks, dams and troughs must be properly maintained to minimise the risk of contamination.

What if I don't install a water tank?

Consider maintaining a sufficient amount of bottled water for drinking, cooking and personal hygiene needs.
